Why
Employee engagement has become critical with the growth of remote meetings. The pandemic has forced companies to increase their use of online tools, thinking that these will handle all the employee engagement issues – they don’t. However, the people skills to facilitate these meetings have not kept up and is costing companies a loss of money and productivity. The use of online tools may be part of the new norm but is not the answer.
What
People skills are critical. It’s important for people to understand “how to” structure meetings, “how to” engage participants, “how to” prepare so that the meetings are productive, and “how to” work with difficult participants.
At MGR Consulting, we’ve been facilitating meetings and training others “how to” for decades.
